F&R Bronze Company Polices & Frequently Asked Questions

Payment methods excepted:
You may use any major credit cards through our online PayPal shopping cart or you can call us toll free and we take all major credit cards over the phone. We do not take credit cards for orders over $3000 without prior approval. You may also pay with personal or company check or money orders.

Credit Terms:
FR Bronze is no longer offering new credit accounts due to the fact that we are wholesale. We require payment upfront for all purchases. Existing customers and Government Agencies with credit accounts will still be honored.

Out of Stock Items 
We try to maintain inventory on most items, but if your item is out of stock we will contact you and let you know how long it will be before the item can be shipped and you will be given the option to keep the order or to receive a refund. If the order cannot be filled within 3 to 6 weeks we will automatically process your refund. We will also refund backorders if there are large changes in commodities on energy prices. Unfortunately, bronze ingot prices are affected daily by the metal market which is very volatile. Bronze prices are also directly affected by energy prices. The above things can change prices without notice.

International Sales
All sales on international orders are final. We do not always ship international due to the extreme weight of bronze, international shipping can often be 2 to 3 times the price of the product itself. We do not do refunds on international orders, we do insure all international shipping against damage and refunds can be given if the product is received damaged. We cannot issue any refunds or replacements until the product is returned by the buyer or the shipper. It is especially important on large pieces to inspect right when it is received, if it cannot be opened immediately it is very important to have the driver make note of any damage to the package or crate.

Shipping is included in the price to U.S. lower 48 states
Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or any country outside of the US will have additional shipping charges applied if it can be done. If you have any questions on shipping charges outside of the lower 48 states please contact us.

Shipping 
Shipping is included in the price of the product, if the product is returned the price of the product will be refunded minus what the shipping charges were. If you need to know the approximate shipping costs on a piece please call us. The buyer is also responsible for any return shipping and insurance charges. We ship with FedEx and UPS for ground packages, for larger packages we quote with common freight carriers. We do not use white glove delivery services, this means buyer will be responsible for moving the piece, unpacking and inspection within 7 days of receiving the piece. It is best to inspect large pieces immediately and let the driver know if the crate package or the product has any damage on it. Please have the driver make a note on the shipping paperwork before you sign it.

Damaged Goods:
Report all damaged goods immediately. Please save the original packing material and call or email us to explain the damage. We will send UPS or the proper freight company to come pick the package up at your location. A replacement bronze will be shipped out immediately.
It is best to inspect large pieces immediately and let the driver know if the crate package or the product has any damage on it. Please have the driver make a note on the shipping paperwork before you sign it.

Returns/Exchanges:
30-day money back guarantee on all bronzes up to 100 pounds, minus shipping in both directions. All sales are final on bronzes over 100 pounds which include life size, monumental, and custom orders. For bronzes over 100 pounds: Exchanges or refunds will be made at the discretion of the management team with a restocking fee and minus shipping/ freight in both directions. Custom pieces are not returnable. Colors and details are not guaranteed to be exact likeness. Patinas are a chemical process and are not a paint. These are artwork items and are not manufactured, therefore every one piece is unique and one-of-a-kind.


Warranty:
FR Bronze provides a life time limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship this excludes high polish and patina colors for any bronze we sell or produce.  Any and all defects must be reported to FR Bronze within 72 hours of receipt of product. All repairs and replacement costs will be assumed by FR Bronze if deemed damaged in shipping. This warranty does not cover any pieces that have been previously altered or repaired by anyone else other than FR Bronze. This warranty does not cover cosmetic modification of/ or to the product. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill or sales receipt must be present to obtain warranty. This warranty does not cover bronzes which have been damaged due to accident, misuse, abuse, fire, flood, "Acts of God," or other contingencies beyond the control of FR Bronze. Please keep in mind that bronzes develop patinas and change color with time due to aging, weather, and sun. Therefore, colors and patinas cannot be covered.

complete process takes 20 to 30 days and requires a massive amount of labor, energy and resources from start to finish.

It is commonly thought that bronze sculptures are simple to make and all that is required is hot molten metal that
is poured into a mold. This video gives a great example and is a great educational tool. This gives a greater
understanding and respect for the entire process to get to the final product or finished bronze using the 
traditional lost wax casting process.
