This insures a quality bronze sculpture that may be passed down from generation to generation. In the Apocrypha Judith was a famous character. During a time of war and famine, king Nebuchadnezzer sent his general Holofernes to overtake the Jews in Bethulia. Just as the city is about to give up, Judith uses her beauty to captivate the general, and while he is overly intoxicated Judith cuts off his head. Judith returns with Holofernes head as a trophy for the city and is revered as a hero.
