This bronze statue by Dumiage is handmade and cast in the traditional Lost Wax Casting Process. This insures a quality bronze sculpture that may be passed down from generation to generation. The tambourine is commonly associated with music of joy, dancing, rejoicing, victory, and times of happiness and gladness. The tambourine’s use was used in biblical times to celebrate. The tambourine started getting noticed and used more in the 18th century, but it wasn’t until the 19th century that its popularity really spread.
