This bronze statue by Isidore Jules Bonheur is handmade and cast in the traditional Lost Wax Casting Process. This insures a quality bronze sculpture that may be passed down from generation to generation. This is one of Bonheur’s most famous pieces. Although he started painting in his early years, he later moved into sculpting where he wont the coveted Gold Medal at the University Exhibition in Paris two years before he died.
